Barbara and Edward Lambregt in their German restaurant Lambregts, which opened at 237 Main Street, Upper Hutt, in January 1993. Printed in greyscale in the ‘Leader’ on February 1, 1993. First opened as the Jugglers restaurant on November 4, 1987. The Lambregts followed Wah Sewhoy's Rhein Café, which had opened in November 1990; he had owned the Mecca Restaurant in Wellington, and had learned from its Austrian chefs.
