Caption: One of the historical spots in the valley is the Whiteman House, now owned by John and Jane Taylor who bought it in 1989. The original Whiteman homestead was advertised for sale in the October 10, 1989 'Leader'; the house had 3 bedrooms, formal and informal lounges, dining rooms and farm style kitchen.
