Awarded a Travelling Scholarship to Asia which was funded by the Ministry of Education and ACENZ, Ailsa Parker, a librarian from Whitireia Community Polytechnic, visited twenty-one libraries in Japan, Korea and China in the space of 23 days in November / December, 2002. These included national, university, high school and public libraries.
