It’s also home to a large digital heritage collection, and remote visitors can enjoy the objects, papers, photographs and maps linked to Taranaki’s history.

Puke Ariki has been a valued content partner of DigitalNZ since we first began. In that time the Puke Ariki records available on DigitalNZ have increased over 400 per cent. We recently worked with them to bring in a large update and now there are over 20,000 items available for you to explore and enjoy. The DigitalNZ set A day in Taranaki with some of the great content from Puke Ariki's heritage collections shows off some of the amazing content Puke Ariki has to offer.
